1914 translation by H. Rackham

"But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?"

I LOVE the block quote background! It looks like almost a paintbrushed effect :) wouldn't mind it being lavendar and green though or even encorporating it into other parts of the blog idk. Definitely I like it though and like the dotted borders for the comments! perfect! Can you add that border around the block quote too? on that in to the header? I hope my email didn't have too many colors to choose from. if so I will pick a select few and give u those instead.
-The font you have for THOUGHTS is perfect. Can we definitely use that one?
-The social media icons are perfect as well (except for color, sorry), but I think u just didn't get to change it to lavender yet.
-Also LOVING the Add to Goodreads button. If it changes to the same color as the social media icons (the shade of lavendar or periwinkle I like, then I would squeal with delight, and if any of this isn't part of what I "won" in the contest you know I am content to pay for anything extra you did that I love (like definitely the stuff i just mentioned!)
Hope u get this comment! Maybe I will also email it to you in case :)
